Spot on review. As I mentioned the first time we heard the GT3 was getting a "flappy paddle" gearbox, it should not have it...it's an ocasion car, I WANT to do my own gears in a Porsche, it's a part of the romanticism...funny thing to say from a german car.

Sadly, I believe that as Chris pointed out, more people will buy this car, me? I would rather have a 997 GT3 and do my own gears...perhaps few seconds slower but more rewarding by far.

I still love this car though...I just don't feel as horny about it as I did for the 997 GT3.

I'm with you, there should be an option. I'm looking forward to more reviews and what they make up off it.

But damn it sounds good above 8000 rpm. It may not have the same characteristic noises as the metzger, but oh my... :revs:
