New RS6 owner and transmission rebuild

Hi all,

I've just bought a 2003 RS6 with a dead transmission that I'm in the middle of fixing.

I've read many good posts and threads on this forum and though I'd start off by saying 'Hi!' and that I am also a member of the RS246.com RS6 forum where I've started a post about rebuild the transmission.

I'm not sure if the RS6.com forum talks to the RS6 forum on RS246.com but I figure that knowledge shared is a good thing :)

I'm not trying to pull anyone away from this forum but it's a lot easier to just post in one place so here's the link to the thread.
