View Full Version : Data log, 95% happy, still small bumps

Did a few runs today, log looks very good I believe. This log is after multiple hot runs, so temps are looking good, about 60 degrees out today so that helps. The ~14psi of boost feels very strong, judging by timing and egt's there is plenty of fuel (8% extra under load + full 50/50 WM spray).

My only complaint is that I still get a few "bumps", right in my peak torque range of 4-5k. In the past I would attribute those to timing being pulled, but timing is solid. There's always the chance the ecu is making small adjustments that I'm not picking up in the log. Or maybe it's a little slip in the clutch pack due to all the torque of roughly 550 at the engine. And my foot not being all the way in, you can see spots where throttle was less than 100%, but I don't think that's it.

Note, if I back off on the throttle just a touch, it's butter smooth, dunno, just searching for perfection.:revs:

Regarding 'bumps'... Have you tested another N75 valve? Or, perhaps your diverter valves are sticking a little?

Have not, have been wondering more if its something like that. The "bumps" are minor, but its that little hiccup kepping it from 100% pure...

Hmm, so if it's those small throttle cuts down to 99%, what would cause that?

Do you have a twitch in your right foot? :)

I just noticed the blips in the throttle angle. Wonder if that is electrical at the throttle body. Have you done an adaptation recently? That 99% could be several things.
