4320lbs with full tank of gas, no driver, minimal stuff in the car. Weighed on road side DOT commercial scale.
2560lbs front axle
1780lbs rear axle

Anyone weighed their C5 RS6? Or A6?

Here is mine when I had it balanced with 165 lb driver with full tank of gas. I was pleased with the balanced results achieved on the heavy pig..

With no driver your sounds a little heavy. Mine was about 4060# with no driver. I have BBS Forged wheels (total loss almost 40#), Odyssey Battery (39# loss), DRC replaced with KWV3's (I think it was around 25# loss). Since then I've also removed the Aux radiator system and associated plumbing, gets a bit of weight off the front where it's really needed. Oh, I also don't carry around the spare tire, jack, or tool kit unless I'm planning on a roadtrip.

My 6 speed A6 (I know not an RS6) with some weight reduction (KW var3, Stoptech brakes, millteck full exhaust, hotchkiss sway bars, no spare, jack or tools) weighed in at 3650 lbs without me. This was an MY 2000 A6 which was lighter than later years.

I guess TIP tranny and 4.2TT V8 adds quite a bit of weight? Looks like a 400 lb difference from hahnmgh63's car

Odyssey battery is that much lighter? wow.

A mistype, the Odyssey 925T is about 29# lighter than stock. I've also got the Milltek Catless downpipes which are 5.5lb lighter per side than OEM for another 11# weight savings. 6spd Manual is tempting for some more weight savings and dropping the power robbing Auto. Wish we could have had the 6HP26, lighter, more TQ capacity.

Yep, it's nice having a free 24hr DOT scale just a few miles from the shop!

Judging from weights posted on other RS6's, my car might be a bit heavier. But, there's at least 120lbs in extra fuel load from a low tank. The other add on items might have added a bit of weight too. Oh, plus I normally put in an extra qt. of oil-- so that must be it!

Might have to yank the spare out, extra fluff items, and run the tank down to see what it's "fighting" weight is :brag:
