Did a few searches and couldn't find much. Viper? MTM?

Thanks.

Viper requires a ecu/tcu package. Its good. Mtm is good too. I think you can get one from hourchus(spelling?) in Canada

Mine is MTM loaded. But I need to make sure I don't need it after my 01E swap. Willing to make you a good deal after I know.

Yeah, I've heard good things about Viper tuning, but I already have the GIAC ecu upgrade. I was checking out the Horschaus website earlier, and they have RS6 upgrades available, the problem is the product list page makes for a confusing read. Ha!

http://www.horchaus.com/Price%20Lists%20Web%20Site/RS6%204.2L%20331%20kW%20(450%20PS)%20quattro.htm (http://www.horchaus.com/Price%20Lists%20Web%20Site/RS6%204.2L%20331%20kW%20(450%20PS)%20quattro.htm)

I'm going to call them tomorrow and see if they sell the TCU upgrade. If not there's an MTM dealer down in Florida named Prestige Imports, but their website makes them look like a high end car dealer, not a performance shop. I'll call them anyway if Horschaus doesn't work out.

I don't see how you would need it after the swap, but with these cars, I wouldn't be surprised at all. Haha! That'd be great if you'd be willing to part with it. When is the swap happening, or has it already begun?

Not to thread jack. But I intend to drop the assembly within a week. Tuck the 6 in the corner to free up the lift and go from there. Projected drive out? End of May.

Very cool, man! I hope everything goes to plan. Can't wait to see the results! I assume you're documenting the build as it goes. It'd be great to see an in detail swap. I'd love to have a 6 spd in my car, but I'm just not there yet. I bought a house recently so that's been taking financial precedence over modding toys. :( Haha

I'll do my best to time study and lapse images the best I can.

Thanks! I'll be calling them tomorrow. Last I heard, Hoppen was out of business.

Francois at Horchaus, good guy.

I'll second this. Francois was more than willing to answer the questions I had about the MTM TCU chip.

...the MTM one doesnt go in kickdown in low revs, which is very nice.
