You should be able to fit a 3/8 drive socket in there without issue. I can't remember if its a 12 or 13 mm socket.
It's hard to get seated and strip it, so make sure you have the socket seated fully before wrenching.

Thanks! 13mm...socket wouldn't fit until it was modified (read ground down to within an inch of its usefulness). Partial strip of one, but got it.
