I was hoping that someone could help verify a part number for the crankshaft sensor on the 03 rs6. the etka lists it as 077905381N but when I web search the part, it brings up the Q series audis. The other part I found for the C5 A6 V8 audis of that timeframe brings up 077905381F and this is also verified with etka. When I web search for the sensor with rs6, it bring up the one for 4.2 C5 A6 engines of that time. I guess I may be making the wrong assumption that the RS6 and the other V8 4.2 audis around that time used the same crankshaft position sensors. Thanks.

90% of them uses the same sensor with or without spacer to set the gap.

Tozo is correct that the sensors themselves are pretty much the same, just a different gap setup for the Bellhousing/Clutch/flex plate. In older Motronic designs at least the gap could vary quite a bit from the factory setting and still be fine, the later Motronics may or may bot be more sensitive.
