RNS-e Question

The model number on my unit is 4B0 035 192P. The model number on the BT I am in the middle of buying is 8P086235L. I just want to make sure that they are compatible with each other. Any help would be appreciated.

From my experience most of the OEM BT modules (if not all) will work with the RNS-E's (all generations). The RNS-E must be coded properly however so check notes on that. And, of course, you must have proper BT wired harness spliced with the RNS-E harness. I have used a BT module from 2005 and one from 2011 (those are manufacture dates on the stickers) and they both worked on my old gen RNS-E (from 2004) and my new gen RNS-E (from 2011). I dont have part numbers with me right now. let me know if you need me to dig them up.

Here is some older BT Module info I got a few years back. It isn't completely accurate as it says my module "AA" which I purchased new from Genuine is for Europe but obviously isn't. I think you just get the newest module # you can for the most updated BT cell phone compatibility and latest features.
