Anybody ever do this? Seat moving around is driving me crazy, looked underneath and the adjustment gears are plastic, some of mine are broken. We have able to wedge tinfoil in the gears to make it better. I want the damn thng replaced. Looked on etka a while back, not sure if a part number was listed, might try a used one from low mileage car, how tough to replace?

Thanks! What a pain...:(

Mine rocks a little forward/aft, just a little, but enough to notice.
This also was apparent on the vehicle known as pre "special sauce"

I would love to know how to fix it as I know my 165lb a$$ isn't big enough to cause this problem.

I would rather solve this with a set of Euro C5 RS6 Recaros and be done with it :)

Well i'm 220 now and the damn thing rocks too much. With my brakes and suspension dialed in it's even worse. Tinfoil trick helps a good amount. Get somebody under there, rollup to about 10-20 layers thick, move seat out of place, then wedge in and move back to place.

Looks like a bitch to replace that cluster, must be done...

Have you reached out to Saul Morse to see if those seats are gone?
What about Kyle's "Deer"ly departed RS6? (sorry Kyle, I couldn't resist)

I've got the two front seats out on the garage floor from my allroad if you need any parts or guidance (my allroad seats did not have seat memory module, FWIW). Did a full C5 A6 sport seat swap so I should be able to help out with DIY (remotely!). Same physical seat hardware as RS6 just not nappa leather and a little different bolster design. Removal of seats are not that bad, just cumbersome. The electrical module up under there is impossible to replace with the seat in. Here is a start... the plastic pieces which break down over time and cause rocking. The is also a link on this first post for seat removal. I just tried to pull up this link and it wouldnt pull althrough I know its good. I think audiworld might be having some issues this evening... http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=1730763

I don't suppose the new S4 seats fit our car. My friends seats are so comfy.
