I've got a ECU (Part #4D1 907 558 D) that came out of my dad's wrecked 7,700 mile RS6. ECU suffered a couple dings on the side as seen in the photo but it did not contact the electronics inside and was tested good in his replacement RS6. Looking for $250 plus actual shipping as it cosmetically is not perfect and will guarantee for 14 days from receipt so you can verify it works. Photos of actual unit below. I figure it's a good chance to have a spare on hand. Was never modded in any way.

Thanks and I can be reached at saul (at) photoplace (dot) com or 623.850.3456. Happy to have folks inspect in the Albany, NY area.

Thanks all!

The ECU will not be plug & play. I believe it needs to be coded by the dealer for the Immobilizer.

Did not realize it needed to be coded...ecu was tested to be OK locally at dealer...so suspect it must have been recoded to defeat the immobilizer on his current car (also an '03). So looks like it will need to be recoded by the dealer to work in the next car.

Can the recode to the cluster be performed with an Auto-Logic tool, or is this strictly an Audi tool option only?

Looks like it might (see link), but I honestly do not know. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than I will chime in!

An immobilizer defeat on the serial eeprom will make it interchangeable with any RS6 without issue. Of course, immobilizer will not work then.
