This is far from being the first time on the V10 engines. I have one of my friends and customer in france who had his do the samenthing.... After some inside info that is non official and will no be.... It seems to be linked with timing chain that slips in the early phases of the enging (before 5000miles) ans this make the engine blow off with oil run on exhaust and it catches fire.....
according to some of my info i came to some estimations based on cases of other fires and produçtion rates of r8v10 info that i got when visiting the factory by the way... That this is about 1-2% of the r8v10 cars....
i do hope audi has looked at correcting this but officially of course all is great and audi will never confirm these numbers repeating this is only one single case (each time).....
