^I wish I could have got you in- it would have been great having you there. The Driver's Edge (TDE) limited it to their previous clients, and was sold out in 10 hours!

CoTA is being vedy strict about the event's rules and regs. Damage to the asphalt is $500/square foot (yes that is not a typo- it is $500/square foot). I verified with my insurance agent I'm covered. Jeez- 10 feet would bankrupt me- LOL

Yep- Full 3.4 circuit. Only current fly in the ointment is rain in the forecast.

WOW!!!!- What a great weekend. The Driver's Edge put on a first class event at a world class facility. I just rolled back into the homestead. A few comments, pics, and vids to follow...

^It was epic! When we rolled out Saturday morning, the rain was coming down. The CoTA owners were certainly worried as we rolled out on the wet track. However; the entire weekend event ran without an event or any damage to the track. The rain quit around noon and we had a fairly good track Saturday afternoon. Sunday was all dry with a fast track.

It was a great success for The Driver's Edge group as the first HPDE on CoTA. It could not have been a better weekend. I'll post up additional vids and pics of the fun.

that is so awesome! I was at the F1 race and can not imagine how fun it would be to run that track, its truly a world class facitily in all respects. O.K. need to see some more video (front) and what was your top speed at the end of the long stait (ending at 12)?

^I am certain it was a blast watching those F1 rockets blast around track. I wish I would have made it down to see it in person.

I am still smilin as it was a plain blast. I reached 145 on the 11-12 straight...then dropping it down in the braking zone to about 35 to make Turn 12. Here are some pictures my wife took of the weekend. I'll have some vids up soon.
