Special tool needed for lower ball joints?

Hey all,

I will be posting up some threads while getting ready for our wrenching session this next month. Sun and fun runs part deux.

One of the projects is KW V3 struts. I was reading some notes about a lower ball joint tool or clamp. Pat thinks we may not need it but does anyone have one I could use? I would be happy to pay shipping and whatever you need for rent. LMK

The proper tool from Audi would surely make the job easier. I made do with a modified generic tool but it was definitely not ideal.
