I was getting hard clunks on downshifts on my 2011 Jeep GC..culprit? Low tranny fluid due to leaking rear axle seal......:vhmmm:

I guess the irony was lost on you Primo....just pointing out that I own two vehicles that have leaking rear axle seals (although I got he RS6 fixed last month)

Alright. What's going on here? I don't really care about the fact this isn't an Audi.
A leaking rear axle seal will NOT somehow cause the tranny to lose fluid.
