As I have posted "casually" before, I need to sell my 2003 US Spec RS6 with 55K miles as I am leaving Germany for my next post and I have bought a different car for a different land! The car is as close to perfect as a 2003 gets. Non-smoker, fairly conservative driver, always dealer maintained and always a New Mexico/Arizona car until two years in non-snowy Frankfurt.

I am asking $27K and it has a transferrable warranty through Interstate (Platinum) through June 2013 or 100K, but only valid in US and Canada. Make an offer as I need to sell!

Stock with DRC replaced 4 years and 20K ago. As I have also posted, since in Germany I have had the 55K service and new alternator and battery, both of which are under a world-wide warranty until June 2015. Most importantly, the Transmission and TC were replaced by the engineering group at Audi GMGH in Neckersulm this summer and they went through the whole car with a fine-toothed comb and it runs PERFECTLY! These also have a 2 year international warranty starting July, 2012.

Free shipping anywhere in the US or Canada to your door included in the price. I can ship the car immediately, but it will take a month or so to get state-side. I work for the US Department of State and they have excellent contractors that ship cars internationally all the time in a container, so no worries.

Continental DWS all seasons, rated to 185 mph with only 2000 miles on them. Brake pads (reds) and rotors replaced 10K ago and have 80% left and look brand new. Sound enhanced exhaust, OEM nav (worthless), wood trim. Interior looks almost new except for drivers seat which looks very good as I weigh 160 lbs, so not too large.

There is someone on Audizine looking for an RS6 so I will forward to him. No guarantee though...

Did 'Interstate' take care of the the tranny and TC for you?

I remember they were trying not to cover that hiccup.

Sounds like a sweet , low mile machine nonetheless. GLWS !!

Ben916, thanks for the referral, I appreciate it. Jimmy, no, the insurance company refuses to cover anything out of the country. My approach now is that I am working with an attorney to get AoA to pay for the replacement as they should have built a stronger trans/TC and we on this and other forums know it was inadequately designed like the DRC. Audi should do the right thing and treat the tranny as they did the DRC, so I am working on that.

Thanks again.
