Next gen' M3 will be, once again, with 6 cil' in line engine under the bonnet, but this time with turbos. I was very suprised to hear this from turbo engine! Noise is really "race like"! Don't know about you, but I really like the sound!

Future RS 4/5 will also be 6 cil' (V6) bi-turbo, hoping for this kind of "engine voice" ! :)

Nice sound though it doesn't sound like its a screamer, doubt it revs much beyond 7k.

For turbo engine, you must agree, it sounds excelent!

Yeah it does sound good, at times it has a whiff of 911 turbo when you're only hearing the exhaust note. I reckon when Audi introduce electric turbos to their future petrol engines I think this M3 engine will feel very old school by comparison.
