Not gonna lie.... a 4matic AMG sounds pretty alluring...... I drove an e63 Wagon the other day and it's got BIG balls.... but it is absolutely downright scary in the wet. I wonder if the 4matic is up to the job of reigning in 500+ stampeding ponies without having all sorts of transmission problems for owners.

C&D had a chance to see and be taken for a ride in facelifted E 63 AMG 4MATIC...
They seems to like it, but I have feeling that C7 RS 6 Avant want have a proper rival in form of E 63 AMG 4MATIC T, to bad that Audi for now don't have plans for RS 6 sedan, so it could be pited against the best in class, M5...

Here, in GER/EU, MB will offer E 63 AMG with both RWD and 4MATIC variants, powered with 5.5l V8 bi-turbo developing 550 ps, but in US, only 4MATIC will be on offer.

I presume that 90% of the sold new E 63s will be 4MATIC, so also, I presume that BMW will have to be very quickly in preparing next M5 with xDrive... :)
Also, for the first time, stronger S AMG version with 585 ps will be offered.

That is a great looking car, the gunmetal color suits it quite good I must say.

Some of the older users on this board will surely remember when the E39 and C5 RS 6 were around and the bimmer guys used to bash on us RS Fans saying that AWD was nonsense and what not...looks like everyone will put AWD sistems on their cars now, epic **** slap, hahaha.
