..my beast, the beautiful Audi S4, has arrived.

The cardealer called yesterday and told me that my S4 finally had arrived. He had talked to the firm that's gonna do the Perma-Shine treatment and they could start with it right away.
-But shouldn't you drive the car there yourself? I can pick you up afterwards!

Noway he's gonna have to say that twice! :incar:

The car still had all interior and exterior protection on it, but that sure didn't matter at all...I know I love this car and all about it, the sound, the power, the way it look..it's all just right..at least to me..

With som luck I get the car, clean and shining, tomorrow night.
Do I need to say I can hardly wait..?

Finally!

Congrats on the S4, I bet it's some itch to go driving in it. ;)

The rear window tints suit the Avant rather well. Nice touch.

Thank you!
In fact I thought about you and your clutch-problem when i drove the car. The distance I had with the car yesterday was approximately 30 km, and luckily I didn't feel anything wrong with the clutch. Of cource I didn't stress the engine hard. I think I stoped around 150-160 km/h max.
I sure hope there will be no bad surprises, and that your problem will be solved very soon!

Exactly my thought!
Tinted windows where a new option just one or two weeks before my order and I'm very happy that I got to know of it in time.

I hope you are a happy as I am with the S4. I now have ~ 3,000 miles (4.8K Kilometers) on it and it's better every day. I have had it to 200KPH and it's steady as a rock.

Absolutely Beautiful MCBURN, The window tint rocks, the way it came from the factory with that sticker is cool. You almost want to put it in a nitrogen bag for 30 years. Then open it and drive it when it's a classic car.

Absolutly beautyful amigo
Kinda like the same feeling, watching a new born baby arriveing to the world..!! :hihi:

So you pleased with it so far ??

Even though I enjoy my new A6 4.2, I really miss my S4... there is not much that can compare with the sound and torgue of the biturbo......

Congrats Mcburn !!

Mcburn, My problem has successfully been solved by Audi. My car (clutch) is now working perfectly. So whatever happens (i am sure you will have good luck) you will not have any trouble tol solve any possible problems with your "nice" car.

Have fun and take care of your "beast" and the most important, yourself!!:) :)

I am getting exactly the same car (except the tint) in 5-6 days! I send pics immediately!

Many congratulations and enjoy driving!

How's the manual trans. ? I had a big dilemma between manual and tip. but finally went for manual.

Ahh...excellent taste you've got there.. ;)
I hesitated for quite a while about both exterior and interior coulors, but now when I finally got my car I know for sure I've made the right decision.

About the gearbox/clutch:
I've only driven it for about 100 km but this far there has been nothing at all that I can complain about. Everything about the car is very distinct. So far I've had it up to abour 5 krpm. I try to hold back on the throttle, but it's very very hard...I'm only a man, and the sound of the engine sure is to die for..
The only thing I think can be a bit annoying is the size of the fueltank..

Good luck with your beast! :s4addict: :incar: :incar: :s4addict:
