I have the rear section of a Milltek exhaust and, at the suggestion of the board member from whom I bought it, thought I might just have non-resonated center pipes fabbed up for it instead of buying the Milltek pipes for $400 plus shipping. The Milltek exhaust is advertised as being 70mm/2.75". There are no shops that I can find that have dies to bend up pipes for me. It has been suggested that I have 3" pipes made instead. I don't know the size of the downpipes in our cars though. I suppose that if the downpipes are 3" that would be fine. But I don't want to go 2.75" to 3" to 2.75". $400 is nothing for the Milltek pipes so i'll probably just buy them but I couldn't help to wonder. What size is the stock DP and what are your thoughts?

Pretty sure stock DP diameter is 2.5 inches.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Slightly off topic, but what is the diameter used on the Milltek DPs?

Also, will the 034 DPs (3" dia) clear the tip trans in our cars? Anyone have experience with these pipes?
