clicking sound on rs6

Hi guys,

Am getting a clicking sound ( sounds like a switch trying to go on or off) sometimes when i first start the car. It goes away after a few seconds.

It seems to be to the left of the steering column, perhaps the lights, steering wheel or seat?

Anyone else have this? Going to take it in, but thought I would check here as well

Those are all the relays doing a bazillion checks.
I was alarmed by that also and called Pat when it was happening.
"Totally normal", he said.

I find that there are some relays that click when ascending hills.

May be the ABS system on start-up - normal, if so.

Mine clicks on an off rapidly when its colder out and going up a slight incline... always has. no idea what for.
