This sounds interesting... Not sure is it bi-turbo with third electric turbine or one of two turbines hs been replced with electric.

from what I read in the past days on italian press,it has one normal turbine and one eletric

This could be a very interesting fix for turbo lag seeing as how electric motors have essentially full torque at 0rpm. To combine it with the turbo spooling process would be a neat solution.

Rumour has it, this will be seen on more engines. (Next TT RS 380 hp)
It could also replace the supercharger on the 1.4 ltr Twincharger engine.

Sounds promising. Not sure about the possible power rating for this engine though. Looks like it will be the next version of the "lower power" V6 TDI that is currently good for around 250. Perhaps 275 when it's out in a few years?
