View Full Version : Screw for front lower door trim

The door trim at the bottom of my front doors seems to have a broken screw at the very rear of each trim piece which causes the trim to stick out at the rear. I looked on VAGCAT and can't seem to find the trim piece or the screw. I need to place an order with ECS and figured I would get the exact screw for a dollar or so instead of trying to figure out what it is with the extracted pieces and going to the local hardware. Anyone have an idea?

Are you referring to the "door blades" on the outside?

if it is the door blade, which i think it is, usually is the plastic clamp which breaks, i fixed mine using some transparent silicone glue...

You are correct. I could have sworn when I looked at it quickly before that the screw had snapped. I'll have to get some JB Weld or something to fix it.
