Hi,

Buying a 2003 rs6 with 36,000 Miles. After reading the board Am definitely going to get a warranty, but which one? Fidelity has quoted be $4k for 3yr. Somebody here mentioned Prizm, but could not get coverage. Am being offered AAGI for $2600.

Any recommendations and also where I can buy from? Any I should stay away from?

thanks

bob

Look a page or two deep through the posts, there were some long discussions on it recently. The search function might bring it right up...

My two cents...I have the Fidelity plan (Audi Pure Protection) extended warranty. Three claims with in a week ALL covered by the warranty, less the $250 deductible. The warranty is the Platinum level and was transferred to me when I recently bought my RS6. So far, so good...from my perspective anyway.
As a side note-speaking of warranties on things, I recently contacted Milltek in the UK to complain about the cheap rusting POS exhaust clamps on my Milltek sytem. They contacted the US distributer in NY who called me and told me he would send new "stainless steel" exhaust clamps to replace the older style rusty ones-free of charge other than shipping. Damn, sometimes its better to be lucky than good! Needless to say, I am very happy with my RS6 even though it is clearly a labor of love to own one of these cars. Very happy with Fidelity and Milltek right now too.....

Sounds shady. Never heard of a payment plan.....

Stick with the known companies you can find on here.

This is typically not covered. How does this affect reimbursement of claims if this was this was found to be the "main" issue or a related issue with regard to the rebuilt of the transmission.:deal::nono::nana::idea::vhmmm:

I tortured this decision (and discusssion, too, on this board)... as someone suggested below, search for the threads on this or simply go to your Audi dealer and buy the Fidelity platinum warranty. From my experience virtually all other companies are suspect, and the one or two that is good is so pricey you're wasting your time. I will give you the tip to play one dealer off of another, or if you are buying it from the dealer make them give you one hell of a deal on it.
