View Full Version : OK, so what're we using for all weather mats these days? Also, Sterns are in :)

Searched the forums, couldn't really find anything. Called my local dealership - they only have A6 all weather mats. Anybody have the WeatherTech ones? I'd love a set of all season mats w/ the RS6 logo, but I don't think they even exist. I'd even take a set of AudiSport all weather mats.

Also, the Sterns finally came in after 2 months of waiting for them on backorder from Pure Motorsport. They were installed on Thursday. What a change! The steering wheels wobble under braking and cornering are both completely gone. Car feels great!

Your Audi dealer is lame. I got a very nice set of all-weather rubber mats from my local dealer, and they fit perfectly. They do not have RS6 logos on them -- they have no logos of any kind -- but they are really nice mats. I'm sure I could have gotten them from another source for cheaper, but I had a 25% off parts and accessories coupon, so the price wasn't too outrageous. I know several other forum members have them as well.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I was hoping to find a set of AudiSport mats.

Got the mats that came with the car:)

What are the Stern's? I get shudder just like you under high speed braking, figuring my rotors were about done...

Stėrn adjustable upper control arm kit. With my car on KW coilovers, 19" wheels and wide rubber (275's), I could feel the car shuddering or vibrating under fast cornering and under braking from about 65 mph to about 50 mph. At first I thought something was wrong with my front brakes (I had just had them done about 3,000 miles ago), but an inspection of the front part of the car's suspension, my mechanic saw that I needed new control arms BADLY. I ordered the Stėrns from Pure Motorsport out in California. They were out of stock for about 2 months, so I had to patiently wait until they got a new shipment in. They help fine tune camber and caster settings on the vehicles multi-link suspension.

Nothing that snaps into the factory mount points.

$100 at Genuine, case closed.

I went with the WeatherTech mats. Decent fitment, good quality product overall.

When I look on their website, I only see mats with emblems. None say RS6. :vhmmm:

Yeah, you have to order the A6 4.2 ones with the bulge cut out and plain, not A6 emblem.
I don't think there were ever any RS6 rubber ones.

I will get you the part number.

EDIT: All Weather Mats = ZAW179005BLK @ $104.78
