Here's a quick vid of a pull. Got 452 torque and 421 hp, with a lowest air/fuel ratio of 11.4. They liked the numbers so I left the tune where I've got it. Thanks to those who helped me fine tune it. I'll post the sheet later, along with a few pics. Got to meet up with CruzanRS6 from Portland too, good to put a face with the name man!

I'll add some logs from the pulls also, good EGT and boost (16psi) numbers, plus good timing. Mustang dyno by the way...

What's interesting is my EGT numbers are lower than a few weeks ago, and the outside temp is higher. I believe the load on the engine is less on the dyno, making for a lower EGT? We had some big fans setup, never logged ait's, but my boost was up like it is on a cool day, maybe it's just having big fans in front of the car...

Really a good experience with these guys, and for only $90 for three pulls a great deal, highly recommend them!

I don't understand this? is it engine hp and only 421?? from an 450hp engine?
or is it wheel hp?
Hove much have you modified the engine?
Scroll turbos is that bigger turbos?

Really? He posted a video of his car on a chassis dyno?

Anyway..nice numbers, nearly identical to my EPL tuned Mustang dyno...

looks like right around 500bhp at the engine depending on what we all decide to use for drivetrain losses, on a warm day that's pretty good. Now I'll have to get mine on a Mustang to be a little closer Apples to Apples for comparison. My Eurocharged is running about 17.5~19psi and the timing & Fuel mixtures are looking good. Did you mix any High Octane fuel before taking it in? I think I'll try about a 1/2 tank of 100 mixed with with the 92 when I do a Dyno pull. Are you still adding fuel with Lemmiwinks?

Well I have never tested a Mustang dyno but another manufacture but it looks the same with rollers that you put your car on.
With that machine i tested you drive up until you reach the top rpm then you put in neutral gear and let the wheel turns freely and depending on how fast the speed drops on the rollers during the free run the machine can calculate how much drivetrain losses you have .
So after that you got an diagram showing the real engine hp and not the wheel hp..

And also on the diagram he is showing it says engine power? so that is why i'm wondering..

But if a Mustang dyno can't calculate drivetrain losses then it would be wheel HP... and then i wonder what you have for parts on the engine and what is the maximum boost?

RS8, it's wheel hp and tq, on 92 pump gas. Really happy with the numbers, I knew it was running good! The dyno spin down method is exactly what they use to calibrate the dyno every month or so. After that you can do accelerating runs and the computer will calculate the correct numbers. Lance who ran the dyno knew it really well, would be worth meeting up there.

Maximimum boost is ~14-16psi temp dependent. Power mods are Revo tune, water/meth. I am still adding 7.5% extra fuel under load with Lemmi like software.

Interesting note from the tuner. He was a bit surprised at how quickly the torque dropped off. Mentioned that BMW and other euro cars will have a cutoff point programmed into the ecu. He mostly tunes Subies and does see the same drop. The numbers on the logs did not show good reason we thought. Anybody else see this on a Dyno.

RS8, forgot the Scroll turbos do have an increased impeller shaft for more oil flow. I've also got a great mechanic who has things put together!

Also, speaking engine numbers. I thought stock was 450hp, and 425tq. So I'm roughly at 500hp, 540tq now at the engine. The engine must really respond to being opened up?

The tapering off of TQ seems to be only slight and following the drop in Boost at higher RPM's that most tuners do on Boosted cars.

Good point, looking at the log I posted I can see the torque drops off where my timing gets reduced and boost then tapers, makes sense.

Again I would recommend this to anyone that has a reputable shop around, really fun and informative. Another side note, they wanted to chart boost also, but the extra vacuum line is already going to my w/m controller. It's also buried underneath the air box.

This log you have posted is it done with VAG-COM ??
If so how?
Which channels do you use to log: Rpm, timing, exhaust 1 and 2, boost, intake air temp, mass air flow, throttle valve, wastegate N75 and....

Anywhere on the web that i can find what all channels is for in vag-com for RS6 ?

^^^ Primary tuning blocks are; 3-timing, 4-ait, 20-21-knock, 31-lambda, 112-egt, 115-boost...

Those are the stock engine numbers correct, hp/tq. So if I'm now roughly 500/540, surprised at how much torque has risen, not that I'm complaining about anything:)

While this is a VERY general statement, it seems to hold true....most turbo cars will pick up 50-80whp and 70-100wtq with just a flash. My RS6 made 317/360 bone stock on a Mustang dyno. Made 402/460 with a flash, same dyno same day, same bad TC. I haven't redyno'd after the Ace TC, but I'm sure it would roll better.
A few years ago, my 996 turbo made 336/370 stock on the same dyno. Made 425/500 with a flash and mufflers, same day same dyno...We did dyno JUST with the mufflers first and picked up 19whp/19wtq, then flashed it.
I think chassis dyno numbers are the only numbers that really matter, (actually the delta really) unless you've dyno'd your engine on an engine dyno. Everything else is speculation...just my .02...:revs:

I agree, we need to be comparing WHP not trying to convert, and then that willl vary greatly from Dyno to Dyno, and of course, even day to day due to temp, humidity, barometric pressure.
BTW, finally after getting my car completely sorted out, no CEL's for the Cat's or the SAI system, pulling strong even in 80'F plus weather, it is a dream to drive.
