MTM Transmission chip, in Tip mode...

Hi,

I just noticed that in tip mode (manual) when slowing down at traffic light and I manually shifted from 3 to 2...it skipped to 1....usually this requires two hits of the shift paddle. Is this normal?

I'm guessing it was your timing, if you shift when it's shifting you'll get two shifts I've noticed...

No it was in Manual mode. And I was going about 25 mph, just slowing down. I know it will downshift when you stop, but at that speed it would have stayed in 3rd until either I hit the paddle or I stopped. I'll check it out this week.
