Hello,
I finally decided to replace my cabin filter (which was very dirty), and in front of it, I found the air quality control sensor just lying in the bottom of the plenum chamber. The part number is 4B0 907 659 A. I have no idea where it goes and would really appreciate some help. The sensor is connected fine to the cable and does not appear to have any damage at all. I just need to know where it goes lol! I contacted my local audi dealership service manager and he said if he gets some time he will look it up. I doubt I will get a call back. Also my a/c doesnt blow cold so could this be the problem? Thank you for your time!

It clips onto the front of the pollen filter housing. It's a fairly useless device but I changed mine anyway when it started throwing codes.

Definitely not related to your AC not blowing cold.
