EPC Light

Up until yesterday the EPC light in the instrument cluster would randomly come on. Pressing the button would not turn it off, the car had to be shut off, then restart. I had the light coming on occassionly but never "felt" anything. Whlie drivng yesterday I felt kind of a jerking sensation once or twice I looked at the dash and noticed the EPC light flashing. It seemd that the EPC was trying to engage, it was a bit un-nerving. The road was dry just driving straight/normal. Any feedback advice greatly appreciated.

My guess is a bad or dirty wheel speed sensor.

Good call Chung. I would try that first.

Could also be a throttle body, pt throttle pedal sensor. Also common issues that throw that light.
