I know not everyone will like this, but when enquiring with MRC over the phone about the best products for my plus, Doug happened to mention 'flames' and 'Milltek downpipes'. I secretly thought this was very cool and ordered said pipes, but tried to hide my excitement, I was mainly ordering them for the extra 20 or so BHP.
Anyway, they were fitted by MRC and then I forgot all about the flaming potential, that was until a friend rang me to say 'your car was shooting flames like *flame thrower'. I had just dropped him home after showing him what the car could do and he demanded I gave it some as I drove off. Yesterday I got to see them for the first time. *

Don't get me wrong, the car doesn't flame around everywhere. It will only do it when very hot and at the top of the rev range. It is a fairly civilised motor apart from that, with just a V8 grumble at low speeds.
