hadn't thought of it when I got my Appradio, but for $150, I now have a complete set of gauges:applause:

$50 for the app (this version is currently available):

$100 for a bluetooth dongle that plugs into the ODB port.

I'm pleased as punch, as no installation shenanigans required. Plug in the Gopoint, then pair with my iPhone. Gauges more comprehensive than the Nissan GT-R then show up on a 7" screen!

all that's left to desire is a VAGCOM app...

Curious, I have dash command on my iPad and wifi OBD 2. Where the hell is this version? Is it a specific dashboard I can load? I would use it so much more. Then again I have been called a knucklehead before and maybe I am missing something

Best of luck with it. I bought the Kiwi BT adapter to use and then got the Torque Android APP and it was laggy and slow and well...I hated it. Maybe this new setup will work better for you. On my allroad, I went with a defrost vent pod with a podi stepper boost gauge

Here is a pic that catches it somewhat too. Took some pics when I upgraded to the newer RNS-E ;)

Hope to post another pic sometime next week with another upgrade........6 spd!!

the BT dongle is on its way; I'll be able to report on lagginess once it does. If it's not up to snuff, I guess I'll have to go with Plan A and buy a Stack boost gauge. I really need to learn how to keep the car on boost, and without seeing boost levels, well, that's kind of hard!

Dashcommand has some great features like logging. It's not VAGCOM-specific, but it could yield some useful data. As soon as there are complete app solutions for both cars and motorcycles, I'm taking my damned Windows netbook and gonna throw it off a cliff. I absolutely HATE using Windows.

Very cool stuff, looking forward to hearing how it works! Will be alllll over this if it turns out a win. I love boosted Audi's, had way too much fun with my B5 S4, but the lack of a boost gauge has always baffled me.

Please post up some videos of this setup in action! This could be the perfect solution if it works well!

I have started programming the Dashcommand app - it requires a lot of parameters about the car. I can post what I came up after a couple hours of research.

The boost gauge - I don't know if it is displaying requested boost or actual boost, but it is rapidly responsive, as good as an analog gauge.

And I discovered a few interesting things about boost vs. driving habits...
