Think this just happened today under WOT, is it the TCU just being confused? Might have happened in auto a few days ago also, but today was in Tip, third gear, doing a good 30-80 pull, and POP around 60 it goes up to 4th gear. Other pulls have been clean, not really sure....

Does it get stuck in 4th from there until you shut the car down? Sounds like its going into safe mode.

If it slipped in 3rd a bit, it will upshift to 4th.

That's what I was thinking, quick slip and RPM's spike, TCU thinks it's time to shift. Driving fine after that, warning to be careful and back off on the power a bit. Tozo, is this a trans timeline indicator, clutch packs not holding?
Will check for codes later...

Well no trans codes yet, just scanned. In the shop this week for another steering rack, going to check trans fluid levels.
The car never did this before the water meth kit, so I'm assuming it's the extra power, will be dropping boost a few pounds so hope this will balance out...any ideas?
