These headlights aren't the same correct? Is the silver mirror trim inside the headlight the same by any chance?

Also, is the avus silver RS6 paint code C2C2 or LY7J? Noticed 2 different options here:

You need post-facelift V8 specific headlights. Dealer charges $1200... each.

Here's a site that sells them cheaper than that: http://www.oelighting.com/index/page/product/product_id/1867/category_id/3/category_chain/3/product_name/2002+-+2004+Audi+A6+8+Cylinder+with+Xenon+Driver+Side+Ne w+OE+Headlamp

Silver one is a 2000 A6 4.2, Blue one is the RS.

Trim underneath is silver matte on the RS, chrome on the A6. Can't remember if that is part of the headlight assembly or not, but it should be easy to swap. I believe the rest of the headlight is the same as long as you get one that had the halogens.

The trim underneath is a separate part.

Do you mean Xenons?

Do you mean Xenons?

Yea, I was going to just say adjustable because I didn't know. Should have went with my gut on that one.

Sorry I meant the trim inside the headlight. Both A6 and RS6 headlights seem to have that trim as chrome inside the headlight. Wanted to make sure they were the same size and part. I am thinking about painting that inside part of the headlight black to match the grill for my avus silver RS6. What do you guys think?

Does anyone happen to know what projectors are in the RS6. Are they the E55 for example. I know that some people convert the E55 in the A6 C5 to the Evox-R projector.
