is it the EGT ??

Gents,

I posted a while back on idle problems and intermittent misfire codes. The group suggested that it might be plugs/coils, so replaced all of them and still getting codes.

Is this a dead or dieing EGT?

I get both those intermittent EGT codes (235 & 236) every once in a while (intermittently I guess)...my car runs fine with no misfiring and no misfiring codes.

Did you use OE Audi coils and plugs ? Does it still idle rough?

Yes - coils/plugs replaced at Audi dealer with OE parts.

The idle is fine and car seems strong, but sometimes gets rough. When this happens, I can give it some gas and it smooths out...

i have the same error code(235) and no codes for misfiring or rough idling, sometimes it says intermittent sometimes nott....have you checked your MAF's seals? i know the seals gave me this error or maybe you have a leak somewehere in the vacuum system...
