Finally had a chance to drive a bit aggressively with the new suspension all finished.

I am impressed with the results. I was somewhat skeptical at the onset, but this car clearly handles better than even with a new DRC. I'd have to have the ability to drive a brand new factory fresh DRC system to be able to be 100% sure. I noticed a difference even at high speeds on straight roads.

How about ride quality? Harder? Smoother?

I used the recommended starting settings for the KW's.....but wished I went two clicks firmer.

The ride is not harsh. The handling is much crisper, better turn in and more importantly far greater ability to accelerate out of turns.

Some day I may pull the struts and turn them two clicks firmer. The top is the issue, the bottom setting is accessible, I was considering turning just the bottom setting up but KW recommends against that.

Aronis, i also had KWv3 and hsports installed yesterday (s6 avant) !
But, they're too firm for my daily driving. I was planning on just adjusting the bottom setting for compression.
Pulling the struts to adjust the rebounding seems to be a ton of work.

I know that if I don't max out the settings, I'll regret it - I've never driven a car that I felt was too stiff or harsh....it's either "just right" or "too soft". When my Konis and H&R springs go in later this week, they will be set at maximum. Hopefully that'll complement the Hotchkis sways already on the car.

Look buddy, using a lift is just cheating..

LOL....

I did mine with jacks, jackstands, and ramps. what a pain in the a&&....

My understanding is that adjusting just one of the parameters is dangerous??? As per KW's instructions.....but.....let me know what you think! I know the bottom adjustment is easy to get at...

The top is more tricky. Another on this post drilled holes from the top to allow for acess. Easy enough to do but what structural problem would that create????

i tend to agree with you...I try not to drill large holes in my car.
I read the instructions. Dont remember seeing its dangerous to adjust the compression without adjusting the rebounding
Just thinking, KWv2 dont have rebounding to adjust.
