Detroit Audi/VW meet today on Belle Isle?!?!

Can anyone confirm cuz this is unofficial. Cute gal told me last night that she and her A4 boyfriend (darn!) plan to attend, and they know of another RS6 owner who plans to be there; mine beast will make two.

Supposed to start at 2 p.m. I know nothing more, including exactly on Belle Isle (a 1000 acre park in the Detroit River) where this is supposed to happen, but I figure I'll find it cuz a group of VWs & Audis should be easy to spot.

Mr. Piggie of audiworld.com fame confirms the Audi/VW meet is happening at Belle Isle! (He can't attend, tho; busy installing an engine elsewhere in town.)

My beast will be there til 5 at least, and with a second one expected...come on out & we'll swap stories, compare notes on tuners -- or be comfortable staying stock! I've always come away from such meets with useful new knowledge about my Audi -- i.e. the '98 A4 that got me re-started on Audi and the '00 S4 I still have but may sell. I won't be selling it today, tho, which is for RS6 fun.
