With my "Frozen Rotors" in the mail (YEA!), and Hawks HPS pads already delivered, I was considering doing the labor myself. I have done this on other cars, but know the RS6 is a different animal, I could possible see myself getting in over my head and/or not having the correct "Audi" tool. So... Is there a DIY for the front rotors?

You don't need any special tools for the front, it's very straightforward. I haven't done the rears but if they're anything like every other Audi I've done, you'll need a tool to rotate the pistons as you compress them.

Generally it's a good idea to replace the caliper bolts. On the fronts these are the radial bolts (the axial bolts that hold the bracket to the hub assembly don't need to be touched.) Here is a pic with the radial bolts removed:

With the Frozen Rotors, be prepared for LOTS of squeaking for about 600 miles of city driving

That's the one I used, first thing I did to my RS 6 and it was a piece of cake. Hardest part was getting the stupid plug for the sensor disconnected. As always, 40 minutes for the first side, 15 for the second. :-)

I can second that Tom Sawyer. The plug for the sensor was the hardest thing of them all.

There is a little tab that if you use a scribe to lift it out of the hole, then twist the entire sensor 90 degrees, it will slide right out.

Changing the rotors on the RS6 is the easiest job to do on this car beside wash and wax...
