Ebony met over ebony with silver piping and carbon fiber trim. Sound-enhancing exhaust. I am the second owner. 48k total miles, 23k and a accident involving a median barrier with first owner, 25k miles in 5 years with me. I purchased the car as a CPO vehicle in February 2007 and have serviced the car at New Country Audi, Greenwich CT using RS-certified techs. I used the CPO period to ensure that everything was up to par and kept the car in tune when the CPO warranty expired. Timing belt service and torque converter replacement (engine out) service both performed in 2010; front rotors replaced in 2011.

Price includes factory radio (Alpine head unit with nav, Bluetooth, and iPod support installed), 2 sets of tires (summer Pirellis and winter Blizzaks) with 70%+ treadlife remaining on each set, 2 sets of floor mats (rubber and fabric), and a noah car cover.

I hate to part with the car but most of my driving involves taking my kids to sports games, etc. around town where the car's considerable talents go underutilized. I hope the next owner enjoys the all-weather road superiority this car provides as much as I have!

I wanted to add my thoughts on this car. I was able to meet up with Chris last weekend. Some of you may not now me, but was co-lead on a few RS6.com drives in this area back in 03/04 and owned a 02 S6 & a 02 ALMS TT. Chris is a fellow car nut and I would not hesitate to purchase this car from him. He has all of the service records to support the work he has done. It looks like the driver side front fender was the only body work done with the PO, so I see no concerns on that front. I want this car, but really need an Avant to fit my life. Maybe I can swing getting it converted to a RS6 Avant.......there is a local shop that did one back in 03 or 04.....Chris I might be on to something here. In any event I wanted anyone in the market to know that this car is worth seriously considering and looking at.

I have only seen it online and not in person. I will see next week when it gets here. It currently has 69k on it. Whoever bought it put quite a few miles on it in the last year.

Do you remember the mileage when you did the timing belt change?

I no longer have the records, but since it was 2010 I'll guesstimate ~40k. I had the car for 5 years and put about 25k miles on it, or about 5k a year.

My wife just appeared over my shoulder and says "that was a cool car - I miss that car." LOL. Don't know what you've got...

His sale description says they rebuilt the trans, would it still be a concern? Well crap a bent frame too? Ugh. Its lines look super clean.

Ask to see the receipt from the transmission repair and then have it inspected by Audi to verify frame and overall condition.

if it had frame damage i'm not gonna deal with it, 905696 is in CA seems clean he says has all the reciepts he's the org owner, i've got a friend near it that can go check it out, Kvicen I really do appricate all your guidence you've offered to me over the last week. 905696 is a nice high VIN too....of course you never know how a car was treated, but in theory anything over 5600 and you're going to have a better tc and trans....
