Gents,

I am hoping for some analysis from the group on the following codes I pulled this evening.

Background:
- The coolant fan was disabled b/c of a leaking auxillary hose that I replaced last week on the passenger side

- I got the 17125 before Christmas (ho-ho, oh-no), so the tranny stuff is just reinforcing that Fidelity is in for a claim very soon...

- Not sure what to make of the engine miss-fires. The car was driving perfect and than the idle got funny. The check engine blinked a few times before coming on solid, but the car seems to drive OK?

Well, your converter is f-ed. Sorry. Good to have fidelity. I would start researching ships that will allow you to put in an ACE converter.

The blinking CEL means you need to turn off the car ASAP. Yours went off quickly so that's good. Blinking alwayseans ingnition problems. It is alarming that you had so many misfires. If it were just one cylinder, you could replace the plug or cool pack or both and be done. Yours could be an ECU related.

Thanks 4everRS - your input is appreciated.

I cleared the codes and am scheduling the TC fix

The misfire problem can be related to BOTH cooling system problem and the MAF (more likely).
