Depends on where u take it. Dealership is going to be the most expensive. And independent shop, iirc should cost $1200 in labor, give or take. Where are u located?

Thanks for the reply. Seattle, Washington.

Are you happy with your Level 10 TC?

Rock solid, but my trans is custom by level 10 as well. If I were you, go with ACE TC. My setup was not planned by me, bit I am very happy with it. Launches are a blast.

Awesome. So you'd recommend the ACE even for a stock car?

Thanks for the help!

well yes, the car can make good power even stock. The ACE TC is well made. I think however u have to provide a core? Someone else who has can chime in.

Yep, you need to provide a core, yours or buy one and ship it so you don't have to wait. A.C.E. torque converters, so Cal...car feels awesome with it!

i see on their site the price is $430...so this means that i can simply buy one for this price without having to ship mine? If so, would be really good...hopefully won't need one soon as i have just bought my RS...but you never know as this seems to be a common problem.

You need to provide Andre with a core. I just sold my old one for $225 shipped to Andre (ACE), then Andre is fixing for the $430 and shipping to an Ireland forum member for god knows how much...

Yup...RS6 TC's don't grow on trees, so he needs one to mod to get one out...he charges $400-$430 to rebuild it. Worth every penny...find one and have it shipped out to him. Whoever you buy it from can ship directly to him..probably save on shipping rather than ship to you, then to him...always call him first...

Or if you have another car to drive for a while just pull yours and ship it to him to rebuild. He'll turn it around pretty quick and get it back to you.
