Can someone please confirm for me the OD of the MAF assembly housing? Is it 3.5"?

Are you going to fab up an intake?

yes, but i'm trying to first figure how to better seal against the OEM ring seal.

11952#1 is 3.13" & #2 is 3.15" so with manufacturing tolerances they are probably the same.

thanks mark.

i'm looking at trying out a tapered gasket that will wedge itself between the stock gasket and the MAF body.

i'll let everyone know how well it works. also, going to try and see if there's a way to bolt down the maf to the inlet bodies so that there's no leak for aftermarket intake systems.

Kudo's Terry....If there is a better way, I'm in. The damn MAF seals lose a little bit of life everytime the housings are removed, its a horrible design, not to mention the rings are a small fortune for rubber/steel.

i'll try to have a solution before the end of the year.

i also want to start fabing up some simple intake kits. nothing flashy -just functional :)

looking to also start putting together an exhaust kit without mufflers. let you guys decide on the mufflers you want

Definitely let me know about the exhaust. I am gonna need some 4" cat-less dp's that will mate up to gt2871's. And I want 4" all the way back to modified milltek tips.
