FYI...it will not fit a regular 4.2 without some fabrication. I gave mine to my Service Director for his 4.2 and they have to get some stuff made for it to fit.

Avus,

Thanks for the info, we figured some bends would need to be done, but fwiw, in the end the buyer makes out.

I think the tips of the RS6 exhaust is also too wide for the bumper cut-outs of the new A6.

No doubt! I think an RS6 will end up taking it...If I'm correct, you have Miltek?

WOW!!! :error: :MTM:

$2Gs for an exhaust? That's one expensive piece of pipes! Mucho Dinero, ese!!! Amor Del :king:
Would love to get some real (fact) numbers on the HP gains from that addition.
Does it sound any better then the stock exhaust?

Miltek makes the car sound like a Vette.

I read in AW that they Dyno'ed something like 332WHP stock and like 415WHP with Chip and Exhaust, but I missed the dyno graph.

The plots show difference in power gains with chip and exhaust.
It does not show power gains with and without exhaust only.
How much can we safely attribute as power gains to the exhaust modification?

Why would I want my $90K car to sound like a $50K Vette?
Can they make it sound like $250K Ferrari?

These OCT chips get burned to the exact specs of the car, i.e. with exhaust. Marcus (Mr. OCT himself) told me that it is ill advised to run the car without the exhaust. He also said the car would be down 14hp with the sport exhaust vs. the Milltek.

The car does npot sound like a vette. You watch off shore power boat racing on Speed? That is what they sound like, I love it and wish my S4 could sound like that.

Probably because the hot exhausts will eventually damage the car otherwise?

Wow! Brian, I have the same setup and did not get numbers anything close to yours...

Also what do the numbers in yellow and green symbolize?

The different colors indicate different runs. This car heat soaks pretty bad in the summer heat. She will be getting my Intercooler misting kit once we have some time. The tank will most likely be tricked out in the trunk w/out giving up to much space.
