View Full Version : Battery died, jumped car, auto-close windows don't work.

Now I have to hold the buttons to fully open or close - auto function not operating. Any ideas why?

Mine worked after a day or so, same thing, somebody explained it here before...

It has happened to me after a dead battery on any of my Audis, but went away after I ran each window fully down and then back up. I think it needs to see the limit switch at each end before it goes back to auto function.

Aha, that's the trick I heard mentioned before. Yep, after a few passes mine was working after this happened last time.

Yep, that's how I reset them in the P car...push the button DOWN and hold it until it is all the way down, then push the UP button until it is all the way up..should be good?

normal. Happens every time the battery is disconnected. Do as stated above.

Guess I should be glad the battery has lasted 8 years and live with the quirks.
