“The CL65 is the result of U.S. customers’ requests,” said AMG U.S. manager Rob Allan.
“AMG customers buy a new car about every 18 months. Our research says they own four other Benzes and want the latest, the biggest.”

It's unbelievable how it's possible that so much power and torque can come from such a limited place.
The HP figures are one thing, but OMG the Torque!
If this car isn't the one of the best autobahn cruisers ever!:0:  :incar:  :MTM:

apparently the torque has been limited to 900NM? or so for first gear!! and it will relase 1100NM after that

I read that from somewhere

its a luxury train really. Pulls more power than a nuclear power plant. Next thing you know is Brabrus with a 8.0L twin supercharge or whatever putting out 1000HP with 2000NM hahaa..

Have you heard a SL55 AMG being revved hard? WOW... WW2 jet fighter sort of growl.. its pretty amazing (and fast)

Loving the power war~~

They're coming out with the SL 65 next in 2004. That's going to be screamer.
