VSS (vehicle speed sensor)

is that the left front ABS sensor or the speed sensor in the differential?

I'm getting ABS, ESC, and CEL lights all for intermittent signal from left front speed sensor.

thanks

and part number of the abs sensor harness?

oh boy... hold on.... there are at least two diagrams...
1. for the front speed sensor by the transmission
2. for the l/r rear with revisions...

Give me a minute or ten unless Joshua beats me to it...

Curious have u removed the sensor from the hub and cleaned it? It's magnetic, collects rust dust and throws abs off, and dash lights come on. Remove wheels, right behind calipers, dust shield there is a nut, that had a connector that lead to body. Remove nut, take sensor out use Blake cleaner wipe off, install and clear codes. Easy peasy....

thanks!

i thought the VSS was from the left front wheel. at least that's the code i'm getting.

CEL ENGINE - VSS intermittent
ABS - left front speed sensor intermittent

CEL TRANS - Speed implausible signal VSS

terry, is the wire frayed, where it meets the socket? The wire moves alot from vibration etc, and I have seen DIY to cut, splice solder, save ya some $
