Hi,

My 2003 RS6 ran perfectly when I parked it, but won't start now. Spins over fast and fine, won't fire. The external fuel pump is not preloading at all (actually I can't hear the in tank pump either). Fuse is good.

Can anyone tell me where to look for the FP relay or any relays for that matter.

Any other ideas? I don't have a scanner and the car is in a difficult place to get it towed.

Cheers
Scott

Still keen to check the fuel pump relay, but can't identify which one it is. Does anyone have the identifying number or location of it,

Thanks

Also, checking the fuel filter is easy enough. I just had to replace mine after only about two years, and I try to fill up at 1/4 tank.
My fuel pump was also toast, but at least I could get it to start and run long enough to drive it in to the shop.

I have a part number from ETKA:
(page 937-20)
4D0951253 - contact close relay for fuel pump. relay location/code no. 4/372

(937-70)
4B7906093 - control unit for fuel delivery unit

ETKA doesn't have an electrical diagram for fuse or none of that mumbo jumbo...
