A must read: Who is Edmunds.com kidding with their review of the 2002 7-series?
What universe are they living in?
How much is BMW paying these guys?
Have the Edmunds.com execs hired fiction writers?
Funny, how money changes people.
We had to laugh when we came across this review done by the Edmunds.com editors on the 2002 BMW 745Li.
They said they had a TOTALLY trouble free driving experience with the 2002 model.
They NEVER even hinted that this is a rare occurrence for this car.
WHO ARE THEY KIDDING?
There is not a 7-series driver on the planet (except their editors) that has not had SOME problem with their 7-series.
Was theirs the only one made that did not have phone problems, iDrive problems, wheel vibration problems, transmission shifting problems, software issues, alignment trouble, engine shut off issues, key fob failures…should we go on? We could fill a list twenty pages long if we had to…
Even if Edmunds said they had minor issues we would have let them slide but to say it was a total trouble free experience…what a bunch of ass-kissing, go for the ad dollars shysters! Man, what little unbiased credibility they had, has flown completely out the door.
MAYBE we could have understood this, if they said they reviewed the 2003 version.
I defy them to get in that car and make call waiting work on the built in phone. BMW hasn’t even figured out how to get that to work.
We own a 7-series and as much as we like it, it has a half dozen or so problems as we speak. And even WITH the problems, we still like the car!
Are we the only car people in the universe who like to tell the truth?
C’mon Edmunds…get real here!
Read the full review for yourself and you make up your own mind…
