Hi

I've been lookin alot and couldn't find any useful information about it.

Where this beast is located under the hood ? I think that only place left (where I am not able to look) is under the intake manifold (I am not able to see what's inbeetween).

Did anyone try to replace it ?

Damn

Does anyone know how to test the PCV circuit ?

My pancake valves are clear and they are working correctly, I don't have any sludge in my pipes but I just want to be sure that everything is ok. I am going to replace PCV valve, but it is the only thing I can do without doing any major dismantlement

That little PCV valve that goes inside the hose is a common problem as it is the same one that the little 1.8T Audi's had and our engine passes more gas if you get what I mean. Other than that the system is pretty reliable since the system isn't under much pressure the hoses will last a fairly long time but after a while they will start getting brittle due to heat & age. Usually the vacuum & boost hoses go first.
