OEM steering wheel RS emblem?

Mine's wearing out - seems that they wear out easily if you're vigorous in cleaning the steering wheel...?

Anyone go through replacing theirs? Does this look like/priced as an OEM part?

I did see some people online in my searches actually doing it with nail polish then a clear coat over

It's only about $50 (wholesale OE )...or it was about that last year. Kinda silly to be priced so much but it is what it is.

That ebay one looks fine and is priced right IMO. Not sure how one can tell if its OE or not...at that price it doesn't matter ! Ask the seller.

VERY easy to replace; use a plastic pry tool to pop the old one out, press the new one in.

I went through two of them before I gave up and just scraped all the paint off and let it be monochromatic silver. The paint just doesn't stick to that little badge... ask mmaturo i think he went through 14 of them.

that's a good idea to clearcoat them. I ordered two - partly in expecting wear, and partly so I can experiment with sealing one of them as described above.

Mine is all gray/silver now. Kind of like it.
