with all vehicles I've owned, there are the recommended pressures, which of course get thrown out if you switch tire size or even brands. On bikes, optimum tire pressure is almost like voodoo; it took ages for me to figure out what worked with the suspension settings I had.

So I thought I'd ask around here, what pressure and with what tires? Same or different front and rear? I'm still learning the basics of my car; I'm dead certain the tire pressure tables I developed for my Skyline, while also AWD and using similar sized rubber, will NOT work for the RS6!!

I have the 'Kooks V12 initially at 40 psi, but was sliding in corners, making lots of noise - lowered to 36PSI, much better and grips well

50 psi ! Wow, is that due to the wider tire?

I think I'm running 40 in my 255/35-19's

I run 2.7bar ( ~39.1psi) at each corner. I find that gives me excellent handling with an acceptable ride........

the previous owner of my car had set my Continentals to 42psi. He's about as meticulous a car nut as I've ever met, so 42psi it is!
