Haven't posted for a while - just been enjoying my S4 :s4Addict:

So the S6 and S7 get the 7 speed S-Tronic - perhaps not so good for aftermarket tuners as I thing the torque/power is pretty much at the limit for that gearbox. Also the weight is higher than I expected but what a tech-fest in the cylinder shutdown engine! I know Mercedes do this in their V8 but can't do it with the turbo V8 yet - one up for Audi!

*S8 0-62mph in 4.2 seconds* Now that is impressive for a big barge, just imagine what it may be able to acheive with just a map? :D

I still prefer the styling of the D3 S8 though along with that V10 Roar!! :heart:

Here is the detailed info about the new 4.0T engine and pictures of the V8. As predicted the turbochargers are inside the engine.
